In the later part of the 19th century, Captain Max von Stephanitz found this beautiful animal which was very swift and prowess. Later the sheep dog named Horand V. Grafrath was enlisted as the first German Shepherd dog. With the revolution in the sphere of the industrialization and the technological advancement, the herding profession became extinct. Therefore the usage of the German Shepherds was restricted due to the decreasing of the popularity of the herding profession.

However, Stephanitz founded an official governing body to take care of the breed. This governing body also started a trial program or test for the German Shepherd dogs to augment the breed's capability. After the first world war, British and American soldiers were so pleased and fond of keeping Shepherds at their shelters, later they took some Shepherds to America and U.K In this way the name of German Shepherds has been spread all over the world. There is a wide range of species of the German Shepherds. However there is no denying the fact that their bold attitude and long and well built body line are the positive features of German Shepherd dogs. They are usually double coated with long or short fur.

Most German Shepherd dogs can be black or white colored. However their usual color is cream. Some are covered with tri-color hair in well combination with white, brown and red. These dogs are well known as sables. German Shepherd dogs are very bold and rowdy. If someone wishes to keep the house safe and protected from any outward invasion, he can opt for German Shepherds at home. German Shepherds originated from Bavaria region and they weigh around 80 pounds. Though they are rowdy but through proper training programs they can be easily tamed and controlled. In this connection the professional groomers can extend helping hands to the owners in the matter of providing effective training to German Shepherds.

Online survey through websites can also be helpful to gather knowledge about the various procedures of the dog training sessions or programs. German Shepherds are very intelligent and swift. They can face the music without any encumbrances or discomfiture. However they should be taken care of very seriously. For investigation purpose the police often prefer German Shepherds to trace the culprit. German Shepherds are pressed into service to rescue the victims in some critical situation.

Hello World

Welcome to my new blog!

For first post I think it is appropriate to tell you about what are you going to find here – As you are here you have a German Shepherd Passion, just like me.
